The booklet “So geht's mir gut im Job” deals with the topic of work. For many people, the workplace is the place where they spend a large part of their day, maintain social contacts, contribute mentally or physically and perhaps also cultivate their self-esteem. That's why it's so important to do this half of your life well. Using your own skills, earning decent money, doing meaningful work and finding recognition, having opportunities for development - these are not unrealistic wish lists, but meaningful goals for your professional life. But they don't always work out perfectly.
The six training programs in this issue of SPIEGEL COACHING help you to reconcile the demands of your job with your own needs and goals. The coaching programs were created by psychologists Anne Otto and Marianne Wellershoff, together with scientists and trainers.
The photo series, produced together with the photographers Alina Emrich and Kiên Hoàng Lê, focuses on our error culture in this context. The model photos, in which more or less serious mistakes have been incorporated, are intended to illustrate in a humorous way how we deal with mistakes and show how supposed mistakes can also inspire productive action.
